Warehouse Manager

ROLE SUMMARY
The Warehouse Manager oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods.

COMPENSATION
Starts at $28 per hour, depending on qualifications. Paid time off, health insurance benefits, a 401(k) plan, and an employee stock ownership plan are also available for eligible team members.

PRIMARY DUTIES

- Demonstrate positive attitude and good attendance.

- Keep warehouse and company grounds neat, orderly, and safe.

- Receive all shipments, and process receiving, discrepancy, and damage reports as needed.

- Unpack and inspect all products and furnishings for damage.

- Report damaged items to Supervisor immediately upon discovery.

- Maintain inventory records and initiate purchase requests for stock items.

- Follow established safety procedures, and correct and report any unsafe conditions immediately.

- Use forklift, pallet jack, four-wheel furniture dolly, upright dolly & panel carts for product movement.

- Load and unload product/furniture on and off trucks.

- Stage furniture in preparation for the installation.

- Safely drive company vehicles when assigned.

- Maintain communication with teammates and follow directions.

- Assist field installation team when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or GED.

- Valid California Driver License with clean driving record.

- Knowledge of safe truck loading and unloading procedures.

- Basic knowledge of furniture installation.

- Effective oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills.

- Ability to learn quickly and work independently as well as part of a team.

- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
