About this role
Samba is a media intelligence company. We know what the world is watching, reading, and thinking about — in real time, at scale, across every screen. Our data exists with the consent of over a billion people, organized into the most complete picture of consumer attention ever built. The biggest brands in the world use that picture to make smarter decisions. We think it’s the most interesting data asset on the planet, because it’s the most culturally relevant.
What You'll Do
- Act as a thought partner on behalf of Samba with the world's largest platforms — as they evolve how data powers their targeting, activation, and measurement offerings.
- Evangelize Samba's suite of data, advertising, and TV research/analytics solutions across platform partners, building fluency in Samba's value proposition among their sales, product, and partnership teams.
- Build and run a channel motion: enable platform partner sellers to bring Samba into their own client conversations, and connect those sellers directly to Samba's brand and agency AEs so joint opportunities are worked together rather than in parallel.
- Prospect, qualify, close and scale revenue-generating partnerships with platforms within a defined portfolio or vertical.
- Persuasively communicate Samba's offerings and unique value proposition to platform partners via email, phone, and in-person presentations and discussions.
- Serve as the connective tissue between platform partners and Samba's brand and agency sellers — routing demand, running joint account planning, and making sure both sides know where the revenue is.
- Collaborate with account management, product, and partner solutions to deliver proposals and integrations that exceed partner objectives and expectations.
- Develop and maintain relationships at all personnel levels within platform partners, demonstrating a thorough understanding of each partner's organization, roadmap, needs, and revenue potential.
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales and partner-sourced revenue targets against the portfolio and account list.
- Work with cross-functional teams internally to ensure partnership launches, integrations, and campaigns succeed and grow.
- Help develop marketing and enablement initiatives and participate in industry events, ultimately becoming a knowledge leader on how platforms and data intersect across the ad ecosystem.
Who You Are
- Demonstrated ability to perform against quota and excel in a highly competitive market
- Currently requiring 4 days a week on-site in office.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proven sales or partnership success with a minimum of 3+ years total experience in advertising, digital media, adtech, or internet technology — platform, channel, or partnership experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated strategic, consultative and analytical approach with a focus on building durable partnerships rather than one-off transactions
- Experience enabling and selling through partner sales organizations, not just to them
- Customer-focused leadership with excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills
- Comfort working across technical and commercial conversations — data integrations, clean rooms, identity, and measurement
- Willingness to travel to outside markets
- Knowledge of the TV/online/mobile advertising industry and data a plus
- Willingness to entertain partners during evenings and occasionally weekends
- Strong references with partners, customers and colleagues
- Existing, current relationships with platform decision makers favored
