HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist (LATAM)  – Global Wave Group

Location: Albany, Auckland (Office based)

Working hours: 9 A.M. - 5 :30 P.M. from Monday to Friday

Reports to: Head of IT

Role Purpose

The HR & Talent Acquisition Speci alist  will be responsible for   supp orting our growing team across Latin America and managing the full recruitment lifecycle and employee onboarding process for Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets.

The ideal candidate is passionate about people, has excellent communication skills, and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese . You will work closely with hiring managers to attract top talent while ensuring a smooth and professional employee experience from recruitment through onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for positions across Latin America.

- Source, screen, and identify qualified candidates through various recruitment channels.

- Conduct initial interviews in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

- Maintain candidate pipelines and recruitment records.

- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

2. HR Administration

- Prepare employment contracts and other onboarding documentation.

- Coordinate pre-employment checks and required documentation.

- Manage the employee onboarding process, ensuring all new hires are fully prepared for their first day.

- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

- Assist with HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

3. Training & Employee Support

- Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding training.

- Coordinate induction programs and ongoing training sessions.

- Support employees during their onboarding period and answer HR-related questions.

- Work closely with managers to ensure successful integration of new employees.

4. General HR Support

- Assist with HR projects and process improvements.

- Support employee engagement initiatives.

- Perform other HR and recruitment duties as required .

Essential Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Business, Psychology, or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or Human Resources.

- Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese (written and spoken).

- Experience conducting interviews in multiple languages.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills .

- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.

- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.

Desirable

- Experience recruiting across Latin America.

- Experience working in an international environment.

- Knowledge of employment practices across LATAM countries.

- Previous experience in the financial services, fintech, or online trading industry.
