TCIS Operations Supervisor - Swanson

The Opportunity

We are looking for a proactive TCIS Operations Supervisor to take the lead in coordinating and overseeing our Tours, Charters, InterCity and School Services operations based in Swanson.

In this role, you'll ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently  and to the highest customer service standards while leading and supporting a team of drivers and operational staff. You'll balance day-to-day operational demands, stakeholder relationships, service delivery and people leadership across a diverse and dynamic transport portfolio.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time position based on a Monday to Friday schedule, typically working around 8:30am to 4:00pm, although flexibility is required to meet operational demands. As the TCIS portfolio includes Tours, Charters, InterCity  and School Services, occasional early starts, later finishes and weekend work will be required, especially during peak tourism and charter periods

Bonus points if you have:

- Experience in passenger transport, logistics, tourism or a similar operational environment.

- Experience managing charter or school transport services.

- Knowledge of compliance, safety and regulatory requirements within transport operations.

What You'll Do

- Lead and support drivers and operational staff, ensuring they are engaged, safe and delivering exceptional service.

- Coordinate daily Tours, Charters, InterCity and School Services operations.

- Manage service disruptions and operational issues, making real-time decisions to maintain service delivery.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety and wellbeing processes, making safety a top priority in all interactions.

- Oversee incident management, ensuring timely response, accurate reporting and a people-first approach.

- Partner with HR, Training and Workshop teams to support recruitment, onboarding, training and fleet maintenance.

- Build positive relationships with customers, schools, contractors and other stakeholders while ensuring service and business KPIs are achieved.

- Monitor operational performance and drive improvements in efficiency, compliance and customer experience.

- Support the growth and success of commercial services through excellent planning and operational execution.
