Specialist Procurement (m/f/d)

## Discover your exciting role

To strengthen our Procurement Team, we are seeking a committed Specialist Procurement with strong technical expertise. You will lead and coordinate the procurement of construction services as well as engineering and planning services at both national and international levels. In doing so, you will ensure smooth collaboration between our specialist departments, project management and clients. You will take an active, consultative role and support our project managers and teams as well as our clients with your procurement know-how.

## Explore your tasks and responsibilities

- Obtaining, analyzing, and negotiating offers, as well as coordinating supplier management and contract finalization with vendors
- Soliciting and evaluating subcontractor proposals, including the preparation of price comparisons
- Conducting bid reviews and negotiations
- Preparing and optimizing tender documents, along with independently managing award and contract negotiations
- Analyzing and resolving claims in case of deviations from contractual agreements Optimizing procurement during the calculation and execution phases of projects Monitoring deadlines and coordinating supplier activities
- Creating cost estimates, tables, charts, and overviews

Your responsibilities also include conducting industry-specific market analyses, sourcing activities, and benchmarks, which serve as the foundation for developing new business relationships and framework agreements. Additionally, you share responsibility for defining a sustainable procurement strategy.

## Show your expertise

- A degree in business administration and/or a technical field such as architecture, civil engineering, or industrial engineering is required. Alternatively, a technical or commercial vocational qualification - ideally in construction or industrial business -with further certification in the construction sector is also suitable
- At least three years of professional experience in project procurement are expected
- A solid understanding of interdisciplinary pharmaceutical facility and laboratory planning, as well as construction management, is highly valued
- Confidence in working with spreadsheets, cost calculations (Excel), and presentations (PowerPoint) is assumed
- Willingness to travel to project sites within Switzerland is required to support on-site implementation
- Fluency in German and English is essential, as these are our corporate languages, French skills are a welcome asset
