Crossroads Bible Church, founded over 60 years ago, is located in Bellevue, Washington, 15 minutes across Lake Washington from Seattle. Situated between the foothills of the Cascade mountains and Lake Washington and Puget Sound. The Greater Eastside of Seattle is not only a beautiful area, but it is ethnically diverse and home to the headquarters of Microsoft, Amazon, T-Mobile, REI, and Starbucks.

Bellevue is also a largely unchurched population, so it is a calling and privilege of our church to minister in the community. Approximately 1100 people attend in person each Sunday. We are a multi-generational and mulit-cultural church committed to building disciples who bring Jesus to our world.

POSITION

Crossroads Bible Church is seeking an Interim Worship and Technical Arts Director who is passionate about bringing God glory through music.   The Worship and Technical Arts Director is responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of the church’s worship services and help with technical production. This role leads worship and volunteers, coordinates weekly services and special events, and ensures that Crossroads’ worship and production ministries are well-organized, prepared, and carried out with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the overall quality of the Sunday morning worship service through leading the Worship Department.

- Regularly lead worship during the Sunday morning services and/or coordinate worship leaders and teams.

- Recruit, schedule, and train worship team volunteers.

- Coordinate worship rehearsals and ensure teams are adequately prepared for the service.

- Assist with worship for special services and church events.

- Take part in weekly technical production of worship services.

- Maintain and organize technical equipment and systems.

- Create and maintain schedules for worship teams.

- Communicate clearly and consistently with volunteers, staff, and service participants.

- Manage the worship and technical arts budget in collaboration with the supervising pastor.

- Attend all monthly all-staff meetings

Qualifications

- A committed follower of Jesus who supports the church’s theology, mission, and values.

- Bachelor’s degree in worship ministry, music, technical arts, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in worship ministry, church production, or a related field may be considered in lieu of formal education.

- Strong administrative and time management skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with pastors, staff, and volunteers.

- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- A track record of servant leadership.

Positional Relationships

- Accountability

Shall be directly accountable to the Executive Pastor

Positional Details

- Full-time, 40 hours/week.

- Work/office rhythms will be determined by the Executive Pastor.
