About this role
We are looking for a SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Engineer with experience in the design and implementation of large-scale solutions and platforms, with strong expertise in SharePoint, Microsoft 365, OneDrive, IIS, PowerShell, and related technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Experience in the design and implementation of large-scale solutions and platforms.
- Strong knowledge of installations, configurations, and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of all SharePoint and IIS versions.
- Strong knowledge of IIS deployment and performance tuning.
- Good knowledge of migrating out-of-the-box or third-party workflows.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Farm deployments, migrations, patching, and upgrades.
- Strong knowledge of backup and restore of SharePoint and IIS.
- PowerShell scripting.
- Strong knowledge in SharePoint and IIS troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of best industry practices.
- The applicant will have exceptional verbal and communication qualities and be able to present and communicate technical designs and solutions to peers.
- Interact clearly with on-shore project teams.
- Own and represent specific solutions detailed designs through to deployment and acceptance by delivery.
### Requirements
The candidate should meet the following requirements:
- 8 to 10 years of experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and OneDrive is a must.
- Good knowledge of MS SQL.
- Basic knowledge of virtualization, Windows AD, Exchange, DNS, and Microsoft clusters.
- Fluency in verbal and written English.
- Strong customer focus, communication skills, and excellent technical and interpersonal skills.
- Should be a good team player and individual performer as well.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple activities.
- Exceptional written skills are required for solution documentation creation for both technical and non-technical material.
- A self-driven team player with a flexible and dynamic style, able to work with minimum supervision, perform under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
