Your mission

As our Quality Assurance Engineer (Software) , you will help ensure the quality, reliability and usability of ProGlove’s connected solutions across embedded and IoT devices, mobile applications, front-end experiences and back-end services.

You will take ownership of quality assurance within the team, combining thoughtful manual testing with effective automation. By challenging assumptions, investigating complex system behavior and continuously improving how we test, you will help us deliver dependable products to our customers.

In this role, you will:

- Take ownership of QA processes within the team and champion quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Analyze end-to-end system architectures, user flows and integrations to identify risks and gaps in test coverage.
- Create clear and concise test plans based on product and technical requirements and document them in TestRail.
- Plan and execute functional, regression, API, integration and cross-platform testing.
- Contribute to our automation frameworks by designing and implementing new automated tests and maintaining existing test suites.
- Perform hands-on manual and exploratory testing where it adds value.
- Configure and maintain dedicated test environments and test data and support performance and load testing when required.
- Share findings transparently, raise risks early and collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Continuously improve our testing approaches, tools and ways of working.

Your profile

At ProGlove, technical expertise matter, but how you work is just as important. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, stays curious, collaborates openly and applies pragmatic judgment.

- You bring 4+ years of relevant quality assurance experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on test automation experience.
- You have experience building or contributing to automation frameworks and maintaining automated test suites.
- You understand and can apply the full Software Testing Life Cycle, including functional, regression, API, integration and cross-platform testing.
- You can analyze end-to-end architectures, user flows and integrations, identify quality risks and translate them into appropriate test coverage.
- You have hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Pytest, Cypress, Selenium, Appium or REST Assured.
- You are comfortable configuring and maintaining test environments and test data.
- You have experience executing performance or load tests.
- You take end-to-end ownership, communicate clearly and raise risks early.
- You enjoy investigating complex issues, challenging assumptions and balancing thoroughness with pragmatism.
- You collaborate openly with engineers and other stakeholders.
- You are fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment.

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be valuable, but is not required:

- Python or JavaScript and Git
- UNIX or Linux environments
- Agile product development environments
- Test documentation tools, especially TestRail
- AWS or other cloud platforms
- Testing embedded systems, IoT devices, mobile applications or connected hardware ecosystems

Quality risks are identified early, communicated clearly and addressed before they affect customers. Critical user flows and integrations have reliable, risk-based test coverage across the relevant platforms and system components. Automated test coverage grows in a maintainable way and supports faster, more confident releases. Test plans, results and quality documentation are clear, current and useful to the relevant stakeholders. QA is an active part of product development, with shared ownership of quality across the team. Testing processes, environments and tools become more effective and scalable over time.

Meet your team

You will join our Quality Assurance team and work closely with software, embedded and mobile engineers, as well as other relevant stakeholders across Product and Engineering.

The team values hands-on collaboration, clear communication and shared ownership of product quality. You will contribute your perspective early in the development process, help the team understand quality risks and work together with colleagues to turn requirements and user flows into practical, maintainable test coverage.
