Intern - STEM Mathematics(Odia) Engagement: Intern / Video Content Intern Time Commitment: Based on weekly video targets Reports to: Curriculum / Content Lead – TAP x Mantra For Change Compensation : INR 6000/- per month
## Role Purpose
Create clear and engaging Odia summary videos for teachers implementing Mathematics PBL projects in Odisha . The role involves understanding Mathematics lesson plans, writing simple scripts, translating/adapting them into Odia, and creating polished 5–6 minute videos using Canva or another suitable video-creation tool.
## Key Responsibilities

- Read and understand the Mathematics PBL lesson plan provided for each video.
- Write a simple English draft script based on the lesson plan.
- Prepare the final Odia script using correct and easy-to-understand language.
- Create 5–6 minute animated/explainer videos .
- Use the approved video template, visuals, animations, transitions, and branding .
- Ensure each video clearly covers the project introduction, leading question, learning outcomes, materials/resources, day-by-day flow, final product, and post-project steps .
- Explain Mathematics concepts and project steps clearly without changing the intent of the lesson plan.
- Add clear Odia voice-over/narration and ensure the audio matches the visuals and on-screen text.
- Use correct Mathematics terminology in Odia , along with relevant textbook and project terms.
- Incorporate feedback shared during script and video reviews.
- Submit the final video, English and Odia scripts, and editable/source file .
- Deliver videos as per the agreed weekly production target.

Skills & Competencies

- Good working knowledge of Canva or any other video-creation/editing tool .
- Comfortable using layers, animations, transitions, visuals, and on-screen text .
- Basic to good video-editing skills .
- Good script-writing ability .
- Strong command of Odia and English .
- Good understanding of school-level Mathematics .
- Ability to understand Mathematics lesson plans and simplify them for teacher-facing videos.
- Ability to represent Mathematics concepts accurately through visuals and examples.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow a fixed video structure/template.
- Able to incorporate feedback and deliver work on time.

## Experience & Profile
Preferred: Students, fresh graduates, or early-career candidates from Mathematics, Education, STEM, Engineering, content creation, instructional design, or related fields . Odia language proficiency and comfort with school-level Mathematics are mandatory. Experience creating educational or explainer videos is preferred.

- Timely delivery 4 videos per week
- Clear and accurate Odia scripts and narration .
- Videos completed within the 5–6 minute duration .
- Accurate representation of Mathematics concepts and project instructions .
- Correct use of the approved video template and branding.
- Accurate coverage of all important points from the lesson plan.
- Timely incorporation of feedback and final submission.
- Consistent quality across all Mathematics PBL videos.
