Intern (Video Editing) - STEM Science (Hindi)

Engagement: Intern / Video Content Intern( Hindi ) Time Commitment: Based on weekly video targets Reports to: Curriculum / Content Lead – TAP x Mantra For Change Compensation : Rs. 6000/- per month
Role Purpose Create clear and engaging Science homework videos for students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 in Hindi Language. The role involves understanding the activity or homework objective, writing simple scripts, creating student-friendly videos, and helping students complete the assigned task independently. Key Responsibilities
- Understand the Science activity, homework task, or project brief provided for each video.
- Write simple and clear student-facing scripts(in English and Hindi).
- Create engaging Science homework videos using suitable video-production and editing tools.
- Develop videos for Grades 6, 7, and 8 based on the weekly requirement(in Hindi Language).
- Explain the activity steps clearly so that students can follow them independently.
- Use simple visuals, diagrams, examples, animations, and on-screen text wherever required.
- Ensure the video clearly explains the problem/challenge, materials, steps, expected output, and submission requirement.
- Keep the content aligned with the intended Science concept and learning outcome.
- Make sure activities are practical, age-appropriate, and easy to understand.
- Incorporate feedback shared during script and video reviews.
- Submit the final video, script, and editable/source file.
- Deliver 3 completed videos per week — one each for Grades 6, 7, and 8.
Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of Grades 6–8 Science concepts.
- Good script-writing ability.
- Basic to good video-production and editing skills.
- Ability to explain Science concepts in simple language.
- Comfortable creating student-friendly educational content.
- Good visual communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow content guidelines.
- Able to take feedback and deliver work within timelines.
Experience & Profile Preferred: Students, fresh graduates, or early-career candidates from Science, Education, STEM, Engineering, or related fields. Experience in educational content creation, Science activities, or video editing is preferred. Key Success Indicators
- Delivery of 3 videos per week — one each for Grades 6, 7, and 8.
- Clear, accurate, and student-friendly Science explanations.
- Videos that students can understand and follow independently.
- Correct alignment with the given activity and learning objective.
- Good-quality visuals and editing.
- Timely incorporation of feedback and final submission.
- Consistent quality across all videos.
