About the Role
Zinier is looking for a sharp, analytical generalist to join the Founder's Office and work closely with senior leadership on business development, strategic initiatives, partnerships, and company building. The role is similar to what a strong Associate at a consulting firm would do, but from inside the company. You will be given a client, partner, market, product, or internal business problem and be expected to understand the context, structure the problem, conduct the necessary research and analysis, develop a point of view, and turn it into a high-quality output that can be used by the business. That output could be a customer or partner pitch, a solution proposal, a market analysis, an acquisition thesis, an executive presentation, an OKR review, or a new business initiative. The role will span a wide range of topics. What matters is not prior expertise in each area, but your ability to learn quickly, think clearly, communicate simply, and execute with high quality.
What You Will Work On
- Business Development and Solutioning Understand client, partner, and internal business problems and translate them into clear problem statements.
- Research the customer's or partner's business, industry, priorities, and challenges.
- Develop hypotheses and potential solutions based on the problem being addressed.

- Strategic Research and M&A Research companies and markets relevant to Zinier's growth strategy.
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition or strategic investment opportunities.

- GTM and Company Initiatives Support strategic GTM initiatives across sales, marketing, customer success, and partnerships.
- Develop presentations and analysis for leadership and company-wide initiatives.
- Support zGo and other company operating mechanisms by preparing OKR materials, analysis, reviews, and executive updates.
- Build internal business cases, operating plans, and decision materials for new initiatives.
- Take ownership of ad hoc strategic projects that require structured analysis and cross-functional execution.
- Executive Communication and Content Turn complex information into simple, executive-ready narratives.
- Create leadership presentations, customer presentations, partner materials, one-pagers, and thought leadership content.
- Use AI and other tools to accelerate research, analysis, and content creation while applying strong judgment to the final output.
- Take rough inputs from senior leaders and turn them into polished, usable deliverables.
The Core Skill We Are Hiring For
We are not looking for someone who already knows how to do all of these things. We are looking for someone who can take a problem like: “We are meeting this potential partner. Understand their business and figure out why they should work with Zinier.” and independently work through:
Understand the problem → Research → Structure → Develop the thesis → Build the solution → Create the pitch → Drive it to completion.
The same skill should allow you to move from a partner opportunity to an acquisition landscape, from a customer pitch to an internal OKR review, without needing to be an expert in each individual area.
What We Are Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, business strategy, or a similarly analytical and high-ownership environment. Should have interacted with clients directly and have had front facing experience. [Mandatory]
- Strong problem-solving and critical reasoning ability.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to create clear, compelling PowerPoint / Google Slides presentations.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar industries, companies, products, and business models.
- Strong commercial curiosity and interest in understanding how businesses work.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of quality.
- Ability to work independently with limited direction and turn ambiguous inputs into structured outputs.
- Strong execution ability and willingness to get into the details required to finish the work.
- Comfort using AI tools to improve research, analysis, and output quality.
- A bachelor's or master’s degree from a Tier-1 institution. An MBA is not required.
What Would Make Someone Exceptional
The strongest candidates will have the ability to combine consulting-style problem-solving with commercial instinct.
They should be able to:
- Ask the right questions before jumping into execution.
- Quickly understand what matters to a customer, partner, or business.
- Separate signal from noise in a large amount of information.
- Develop a clear hypothesis rather than simply summarizing research.
- Build a compelling story around that hypothesis.
- Translate the story into a deck or solution that a senior stakeholder can actually use.
- Move comfortably between analysis and execution.
- Learn new domains quickly.
- Use AI as leverage without outsourcing their thinking to it.
Nice to Have
- Experience working on business development or client solutioning projects.
- Experience creating consulting-style pitch decks or proposals.
- Exposure to enterprise software, B2B SaaS, industrial technology, field service, or adjacent markets.
- Experience supporting senior executives or founders.
- Exposure to M&A, corporate strategy, partnerships, or market intelligence.
Why This Role
This is a broad Founder's Office role with direct exposure to how a growth stage B2B SaaS company develops its business. You will work across business development, partnerships, GTM, strategy, M&A, product, and company building , rather than being restricted to a single function. The role is designed for someone who wants to develop from being a strong problem solver into someone who can independently own business problems from problem definition through solution and execution. You will work closely with senior leadership and have the opportunity to see your work directly influence customer conversations, partnerships, strategic decisions, and company initiatives.
