We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our organisation in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Working Monday through Friday, you will play a vital role in supporting our team by delivering efficient administrative and operational assistance. - Assist with scheduling, correspondence, filing, and general office management duties - Support the preparation and organisation of materials, resources, and facilities as required - Liaise professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders, demonstrating excellent customer-focused service - Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with organisational procedures and Health & Safety regulations
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment by offering flexible support where needed - Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest innovative solutions to enhance efficiency - Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety guidelines and organisational policies - Undertake additional duties as required to support organisational objectives

Qualifications

- Proven experience in an administrative or general assistant role, ideally within a corporate or organisational environment - Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively - Strong written and verbal communication abilities - Demonstrated customer-focused approach with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Flexible, can-do attitude with genuine enthusiasm for supporting others - Good working knowledge of Health & Safety practices and procedures - Proficiency in basic IT systems and Microsoft Office applications - Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to work both independently and collaboratively - Desirable: Experience within a specific sector relevant to the role (e.g., education, healthcare, or corporate services) - Desirable: Familiarity with relevant industry-specific software or systems
