Key purpose of the Job
The Senior Executive – Business Finance is responsible for managing functional Overhead (OH) performance, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end financial activities, while partnering with Functional Heads to ensure effective cost management, financial discipline, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage functional Overhead (OH) performance, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost optimization in partnership with Function Heads
- Prepare functional Overhead (OH) Management Information System (MIS) reports and facilitate monthly financial performance reviews
- Oversee month-end activities, including review of schedules, Journal Entries, financial results, and payments within the assigned authority
- Ensure financial controls, governance, budget adherence, and compliance with Finance policies, while identifying and escalating key variances, risks, and control deviations
Education
CA or CIMA qualified/part-qualified, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
## Experience
3+ years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of budgeting, overhead management, financial accounting, and management accounting Exposure to operations functions and processes will be an added advantage
