Frewen College is seeking a dedicated and organised Science Technician to support the delivery of high-quality science education across the College.

Working closely with teaching staff, you will play a vital role in preparing practical lessons, maintaining laboratory equipment and resources, and ensuring that health and safety standards are met at all times.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for science and a keen eye for detail to contribute to a supportive educational environment.

Key responsibilities:

- Prepare, set up and clear away materials and equipment for science lessons.
- Maintain and organise laboratory equipment, chemicals and resources.
- Assist with stock control and ordering of supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and regulations.
- Support teaching staff with practical demonstrations and experiments where required.
- Maintain a clean, safe and efficient working environment within the science department.

We are looking for:

- Good organisational and practical skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
- Previous experience in a science technician role or a science-based environment would be advantageous, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
