Tactical and Operational Buyer

Responsibilities:

- Perform spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier consolidation potential, and efficiency improvements.
- Define and implement the local category strategy in coordination with Group Procurement and internal stakeholders.
- Lead procurement planning activities with business areas, including contract renewals, new services, and demand forecasting.
- Manage local sourcing activities and tender processes (RFx) end-to-end, in line with group policies and compliance requirements.
- Negotiate key local contracts with suppliers, ensuring optimal commercial,

service, risk, and compliance conditions.
- Support business users throughout procurement processes, including alignment with the Procure to Pay framework.
- Ensure proper contract documentation, validation, and lifecycle management in corporate systems.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process standardization, and procurement maturity enhancement.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or similar.
- Procurement-related certifications is an advantage.
- 3 years of experience in tactical or strategic procurement, preferably in an international corporate environment.
- Strong experience in contract negotiation and local tender management.
- Solid knowledge of Spend Analysis and Category Management.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while aligning with group strategies.
- Experience with e-Procurement tools (e.g. Coupa) is an advantage.
- Literacy with MS Office tools (Excel, Ppt, Word).
- Fluent English (daily work materials and communication in ENG) and Latvian language skills

Salary: From 2300 to 3000 €/mon. gross
