Solution Director - WMS - Consulting

Scope

- Acts as an executive leader and trusted advisor to customers and prospective customers, engaging with senior management and C-level stakeholders to understand their business, IT requirements, challenges, and opportunities.
- Provides strategic consulting and business development expertise to support complex and competitive sales engagements and major project implementations.
- Demonstrates strong industry and business process knowledge to articulate suitable business solutions and the Blue Yonder Value Proposition to customers and prospects.
- Acts as a key bridge between Sales and Implementation teams, ensuring customer requirements, expectations, and key issues are effectively transitioned to delivery teams.
- Supports the successful closure of large and strategic deals by leveraging consulting expertise, customer relationships, internal resources, and strategic partnerships.
- Builds and nurtures long-term relationships with customers, prospects, business partners, and industry stakeholders.

What you’ll do

- Lead and drive large-scale supply chain transformation programs involving WMS implementations and modernization.
- Own the solutioning and customer engagement lifecycle, from understanding business requirements through solution design and delivery.
- Develop and present compelling solution proposals to customers, articulating business value, solution capabilities, and implementation approach.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams capable of delivering complex transformation programs.
- Manage customer expectations and stakeholder relationships throughout the program lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define end-to-end warehouse transformation strategies and roadmaps.
- Ensure successful delivery of transformation initiatives while managing scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and quality.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve warehouse and supply chain operations.

What we are looking for

- 15+ yrs of corporate experience
- Strong solution leadership experience, with the ability to lead complex transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and principles, with practical experience in warehouse operations.
- Proven experience implementing large-scale Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including Blue Yonder (BY) or other WMS platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of end-to-end warehouse processes, including inbound, outbound, inventory, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and warehouse optimization.
- Good understanding of enterprise platform concepts, integration architecture, and technology-enabled transformation.
- Strong learning mindset and appetite to explore and adopt AI to drive operational efficiency and innovation.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
