Occupational Health Nurse

The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) is responsible for providing Occupational Health Services (OHS) in a comprehensive occupational health program.  In this position, the occupational health nurse will provide clinical, case management, and administrative services. The program is expected to comply with BMS Corporate Policies and Directives as well as federal and state occupational health and safety regulations and laws.

The position will be primary located at the Bothell, Washington site but will be expected to routinely support the Seattle, Washington site as needed, up to 50% of the time.

The position will report directly to Senior Manager Occupational Health. The OHN is expected to work closely with other OH team members as well as the global well-being lead, EHSS, and contingent parties providing OHS.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Provide clinical services that may include phlebotomy, surveillance testing and injury/illness care.

·       Coordinate with Sr Manager to order supplies and equipment needed for OHS.

·       Submit data tracking and performance metrics.

·       Attend GEMBA walks

·       Provide health surveillance and support emergency response.

·       Maintain compliance with all local state and federal occupational health and safety policies/standards.

·       Collaborate with OH teams to implement occupational health and safety policies and standing orders.

·       Work with BMS disability and worker’s compensation insurance providers to case manage occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses and short- and long-term disability claims.

·       Manage medical accommodations.

·       Participate in the promotion of company-wide and site-based health and wellness programs.

·       Proficiently use existing OH electronic medical record systems.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/EDUCATION

·       Active WA RN License

·       Associate degree required

·       CPR/AED certified

·       Ability to work in a team

·       Good interpersonal skills

·       Case management experience preferred

·       Computer skills proficiency, specifically Microsoft Suite

·       COHN preferred or ability to obtain once eligibility requirements met

Physical Demands

·       Ability to lift and maneuver weights of up to 20 pounds

·       Proficient fine motor coordination

·       Capable of working under stress and multitasking

·       Excellent ability to interact with others and collaborate in a team environment

Compensation Overview:
Bothell - WA - US: $106,870 - $129,502


The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws. Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.

U.S.-based exempt employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which provides paid time off without a set accrual limit, subject to manager approval, along with 11 paid company holidays each year.

Non-exempt employees, RayzeBio employees, and employees located in Puerto Rico receive 160 hours of paid vacation annually for new hires (subject to manager approval), 11 paid company holidays, and 3 optional holidays.

Depending on eligibility, employees may also have access to additional time-off benefits, including paid sick leave, up to two paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, and leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, or military needs.
