ZPI is continuing to develop and modernize its Monitor & Report platform, which delivers operational and production insights through an established .NET application, backend APIs, data services, and a modern React-based user interface.

As our Senior Full Stack Developer, you will work across the web platform with a primary focus on backend services, APIs, application data, and the integration between the backend and React user interface. You will develop new functionality, troubleshoot existing behavior, support incremental modernization, validate changes across multiple application layers, and help prepare reliable releases for customer environments. The role combines hands-on development with testing, release coordination, production support, and close collaboration with the rest of the development team.

What You’ll Do

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, business logic, data-access components, databases and APIs within the existing .NET application.
- Develop and support React-based web functionality, working across the user interface and backend where features require changes in both layers.
- Maintain and enhance existing ASP.NET MVC functionality while supporting the ongoing transition of appropriate features to React.
- Implement and support dashboard modules, reporting features, time-frame logic, asset selection, calculations, and other data-driven application behavior.
- Troubleshoot defects across the full application stack, including the React user interface, API endpoints, backend processing, application data, and SQL Server interactions.
- Investigate data discrepancies and performance issues by reviewing code, application behavior, logs, API responses, and generated test results.
- Create and maintain unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests, including comparison-based validation of application data and module results.
- Prepare application builds and releases, coordinate branch merges, validate release candidates, maintain release notes, and communicate completed changes to internal stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and production support for customer deployments, including investigation of API usage, application performance, and release-related issues.
- Create and update Azure DevOps work items, document defects and acceptance criteria, contribute to sprint planning, and participate in code and design reviews.
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, product, support, and infrastructure team members to deliver changes that are maintainable and compatible with supported application versions.

What We’re Looking For

- 8+ years of professional software development experience, or equivalent demonstrated senior-level experience, with substantial hands-on work across C#, .NET Framework, web applications, APIs, and relational databases.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining backend services, business logic, data-access layers, and RESTful APIs in an established .NET codebase.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience developing features that require coordinated changes across the frontend, backend, API, and data layers.
- Experience working with ASP.NET MVC applications and incrementally modernizing server-rendered functionality into a component-based frontend.
- Strong proficiency with SQL Server, including querying, troubleshooting data issues, and supporting application data-access code.
- Experience troubleshooting issues involving calculations, time-based data, application state, API responses, and data presented in the user interface.
- Experience creating and maintaining unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests for data-driven web applications.
- Experience with Git workflows, pull requests, branching and merging, build preparation, release validation, release notes, and production support.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a large existing codebase and deliver compatible, maintainable changes without unnecessary rewrites.
- Experience effectively using AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot or equivalent, to support coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and technical analysis, with appropriate validation of generated output.

Salary range: $110,000 to $130,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and relevant expertise.
