Job Summary : Responsible for providing day-to-day Human Resources administrative and operational support to assigned branch locations. This position supports the employee lifecycle, including pre-employment activities, onboarding, HRIS transactions, benefits support, associate inquiries, and separation processing, while partnering with the HR Business Partner, Recruiting, HR Shared Services, IT, and branch leadership to provide a consistent associate experience.

Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities : Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

- Complies with all quality, safety, health, and environmental requirements, policies, and procedures relevant to the position.

- Provides administrative support for new hires, employee changes, and terminations, including HRIS data entry and documentation, as needed in support of the HR Business Partner.

- Partners with Recruiting and HR Shared Services to coordinate pre-employment activities and ensure a smooth transition from candidate acceptance through onboarding.

- Coordinates and leads first-day onboarding for new associates, including completion of required new-hire documentation and Cactus U orientation.

- Assists new associates with initial access to HR and company systems, including UKG, Cactus U, Gensuite, SharePoint, and other applicable Cactus applications.

- Serves as a first point of contact for routine associate questions and directs associates to the appropriate HR, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, or Shared Services resource when needed.

- Provides general benefits support, including assistance with enrollment and qualifying life event questions, and partners with the Benefits team on more complex matters.

- Supports annual Open Enrollment activities in coordination with the Shared Services Benefits team.

- Creates and distributes SSE training logbooks, T-shirts, and other materials supporting the SSE program.

- Coordinates branch HR communications, associate events, and other employee engagement activities as needed.

- Assists associates with basic password and access issues and partners with IT to submit and coordinate IT support requests when necessary.

- Participates in required Safety rotation meetings for both day and night shifts.

- Maintains the confidentiality and security of employee records, HR data, and sensitive business information.

- Supports HR audits, reporting, document collection, and record maintenance as requested by the HR Business Partner.

- Performs special projects and other HR-related duties as assigned.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Regular weekly travel to the Hobbs, New Mexico location is required to provide on-site HR administrative support. Additional travel to other company locations may be required based on business needs.

Education, Training, Experience :

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field preferred.

- Three (3) or more years of administrative experience, preferably in a Human Resources environment.

- Experience with an HRIS or employee management system preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

- Human Resources certification preferred.

- Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required due to regular travel between company locations.

Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

- Working knowledge of Human Resources practices and the employee lifecycle.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing employee information and maintaining HR records.

- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with associates, managers, and business partners at all levels of the organization.

- Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and a high degree of confidentiality when handling employee and business information.

- Ability to work independently while effectively partnering with HR team members and branch leadership.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn and navigate HRIS and other business systems.

- Strong customer service orientation and ability to respond to associate questions in a timely and professional manner.

- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
