Cactus Wellhead - Inventory Control

This is a Cactus Wellhead position and is located in Bossier City, LA.

Job Summary : Responsible for helping maintain company stored product in an efficient manner and maintains accurate stock records by performing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, managing ERP/WMS transactions, coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams, and ensuring proper stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock.

Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities : Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

- Practices safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.

- Reports related inventory information back to Management, Inventory Control for action.

- Stocks warehouse locations with incoming goods, and proper labeling.

- Assist in inventory counts and reconciliations, daily, monthly, yearly.

- Handle incoming and outgoing product transfers, packaging and unpackaging.

- Pull parts according to transfer orders for branches and perform shipments.

- Responds/coordinates inbound email traffic.

- Assist in review of Job Order completions and job order related functions.

- Special projects or assignments as directed by management.

- Monitor inbound/outbound inventory and updated ERP system.

- Ensure proper documentation for all inventory transactions/movements.

- Coordinate with purchasing teams to track supplier deliveries or reorder items.

- Organize warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval.

- Assist with daily warehouse cleanup activities as needed.

- Assist with weekend and on call schedule rotation.

- Perform other regular duties as assigned or requested by supervisor or manager.

Education, Training, Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations :

Forklift and rigging certification provided by Cactus WH

Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

- Knowledge of wellhead equipment. (preferred)

- Intermediate Computer and Language Skills

- Experience with ERP systems.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Basic Mathematical Skills and Basic Reasoning Ability.

This position operates in an industrial/field environment. The role requires working in and around manufacturing equipment, heavy machinery, and potentially hazardous materials. While performing the duties of this job, the employee:

Physical Requirements :

- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly

- Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift)
