About this role

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented HRIS Analyst / HR Data Specialist to support employee data management and HR operations within a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of employee records in Workday, processing employee lifecycle transactions, and providing operational support to HR partners, managers, and employees. The ideal candidate has strong Workday experience, advanced attention to detail, and excellent Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Enter, audit, validate, and maintain employee job, compensation, and organizational data within Workday.
- Process a variety of employee lifecycle transactions, including: New hire onboarding
- Job and compensation changes
- Manager and organizational changes
- Employee transfers
- Employee separations and terminations

- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of employee data across HR systems.
- Partner with HR teams, managers, and employees to support routine HR transactions and data-related inquiries.
- Provide operational support to the HR Solutions team and assist with workload balancing during peak periods.
- Analyze and review HR data to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and maintain data integrity.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for reporting, data validation, analysis, and recurring data management activities, including formulas, filtering, sorting, and pivot tables.
- Create and maintain process documentation, procedures, and reference materials.
- Effectively prioritize competing priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Handle sensitive and confidential employee information with the highest level of discretion.
- Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- Hands-on experience working within Workday.
- Previous experience supporting HRIS systems, HR operations, employee data management, or HR transactions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filtering, sorting, data analysis, and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting HR Operations, Shared Services, or HR Service Center environments.
- Familiarity with employee lifecycle processes and HR data structures.
- Experience documenting business processes, workflows, and procedural guides.
- Experience working in high-volume transactional HR environments.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Davidson, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits
