Patient Services Representative (Entry Level - Pediatric Dentistry Clinic - Laredo, TX)

Under direct supervision, responsible for providing customer service to patients by scheduling appointments, performing check-in and check-out procedures, verifying insurance benefits, obtaining authorization, and providing telephone triage.

Location: UT Health Pediatric Dentistry Clinic in Laredo, TX.

- Detail oriented with the ability to organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner.
- Ability to monitor important and complex projects concurrently.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes/other email software.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, to include writing and preparing memorandums, letters, and other official correspondence.

EDUCATION:

- High school diploma or GED is required.

PREFERRED:

- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
- Experience using EPIC is preferred.
- Experience working in a dental office/clinic is preferred.
