Job Summary:
As Maintenance – Technician, you will perform a wide variety of duties to repair and maintain production equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications.
Essential Functions:
- Troubleshoot equipment to locate cause of issue.
- Dismantle equipment to gain access to defective parts.
- Examine form and texture of part to detect imperfections.
- Inspect used part to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
- Repair and replace defective parts.
- All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical functions.
- Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.
- Ability to learn computer applications such as MaintainX.
- Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Required to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or use controls, tools or equipment.
- May require specific vision abilities that include close vision.
- May be required to perform concentrated work for extended periods of time.
- May be required to lift, carry or exert items or objects of reasonable weight.
- May be required to perform duties beyond standard business hours.
- Working in different temperatures (heat and cold).
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
