Position Overview

Aviron is hiring a part-time Warehouse & QA Associate to work alongside our full-time Warehouse Associate at our Kennesaw facility. This is a hands-on support role: you'll test refurbished and replacement fitness equipment, help move product in and out, and keep the warehouse running clean and organized. If you like working with your hands, notice small details other people miss, and want steady part-time hours in a fitness-tech environment, this is a good fit.

You will work on-site at 4001 Cobb International Blvd NW, Kennesaw, GA 30152, alongside our full-time Warehouse Associate, who will train you and set your day-to-day priorities.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 1pm ET. This person must also be available to cover shifts when our current incumbent is away. Hours may occasionally be adjusted with manager approval based on operational needs.

Your two main jobs are testing and shipping support. You'll run our QA checklist on refurbished and replacement units (screens, bikes, treadmills, rowers) to confirm they work and look right before they go out the door, and you'll help receive inbound shipments and prepare outbound ones. The work is physical and detail-driven. You don't need to know our products already; you do need to follow a checklist carefully and flag anything that looks off rather than letting it through.

What You'll Do

1. Equipment Testing and Quality Assurance

- Conduct hardware, software and visual QA testing of connected fitness products, including screens, bikes, treadmills, rowing machines, etc., using our standard test checklists
- Perform basic hands-on troubleshooting to confirm whether a reported defect is present
- Use diagnostic tools and checklists to replicate and confirm customer-reported issues
- Check units against our performance and cosmetic standards and set aside anything that doesn't pass

2. Warehouse Operations & Logistics

- Perform all warehouse activities in compliance with local Health and Safety regulations and company safety policies
- Assist with receiving inbound shipments and verify verifying accuracy against packing lists and purchase orders
- Prepare outbound shipments: pick, pack, label, and stage for pickup
- Enter receiving and shipping activity into the inventory system as it happens
- Handle and move boxes or equipment safely using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other tools as required
- Assist with periodic cycle counts
- Help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, with product returned to its labeled zone

3. Communication

- Hand off what you completed and what's outstanding at the end of each shift
- Raise safety concerns, damaged product, or count discrepancies right away rather than at the end of the week
- Tell us when you spot a better way to do something. We'll take the good ideas

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- 6+ months of experience in a warehouse, assembly, repair, retail stockroom, or similar hands-on environment. Product testing or QA experience is a plus but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification is a plus
- Comfortable entering data on a computer or tablet (Google Workspace or similar)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Clear communication, in person and in writing
- Reliable attendance. This is a fixed two-day schedule and we need someone who shows up for it consistently
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to lift and move boxes and packages weighing up to 50 pounds safely, and to stand, bend, and walk for the duration of an 8-hour shift
