Great opportunity to utilize your legal skills in making a significant impact in your community.   In this role, you will manage a varied caseload and serve clients in domestic and child support cases.

This is a full-time in-office role with flexibility for periodic off-site work with prior approval.

Job Duties: Conducts administrative hearings in the appropriate manner as required by Kansas Supreme Court rules, 3 rd Judicial District local rules, Kansas law and statutes, and Kansas Child Support guidelines for the following actions:
- Paternity actions/establishment of paternity.
- Establishment of child support/medical support, including post-decree motions.
- Enforcement of child support and medical support, which includes any activity in the case regarding motions to enforce, contempt citations, issuance of warrants, income withholding, and activities associated with collections and arrearages.
- Registering liens resulting from out-of-state support orders.
- Other duties as determined by the Chief Judge of the 3 rd Judicial District.
Required Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctorate degree with 2 years' experience and licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas.
- Certificate of good standing from the Kansas State Bar Association.
- Ability to understand, explain, interpret, and apply laws, rules, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational, written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to execute complex tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and make independent decisions.
Desired experience:
- Legal experience in domestic relations law is a plus.
