Foothill Regional Medical Center is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Emergency Department team. Serving Tustin, Santa Ana and other surrounding communities, Foothill Regional Medical Center is a fully accredited acute care hospital, licensed for 177 beds—120 beds for general acute care, 15 intensive care beds and 42 pediatric sub-acute beds. What You'll Do

As an Emergency Department LVN, you will assist in providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians while supporting the department's commitment to safety, quality, and compassionate service.
### Clinical Care & Patient Support

- Administer medications and treatments within LVN scope of practice and hospital policies.
- Assist with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and emergency interventions.
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions, taking appropriate action and documenting observations.
- Perform basic IV management when appropriately certified.
- Utilize aseptic and infection prevention techniques during treatments and procedures.
- Support patient care through specimen collection, wound care, dressing changes, and other clinical procedures.

Patient Comfort & Experience

- Assist patients with activities of daily living, hygiene, comfort measures, and mobility needs.
- Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care to patients and families during stressful situations.
- Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.

Documentation & Monitoring

- Accurately obtain and document vital signs and patient assessments.
- Record treatments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record.
- Assist with patient transportation and coordination of care activities.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation to support continuity of care.

Qualifications

- Current, active, and unrestricted California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to obtain IV Certification within 12 months of hire .
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment.
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during emergency situations.
- At least 1 year knowledge and experience in an acute care, emergency department, urgent care, or related clinical experience.

Preferred
- Bilingual language skills.
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

- Our organization follows an in person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a weekly basis. The hospital is located at 14662 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA 92780.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is $30.00 - $40.00 hourly. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
