About this role

Location: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Utah; on-site, hybrid, or remote
Employment type: Full-time
Base salary: $82,000 - $88,000 per year, plus performance-based incentives

The opportunity
Sensibly Sprouted is seeking a Registered Dietitian Manager to lead a Dietetics team delivering outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). You will have direct reports and manage team performance, staffing, capacity, operations, and business results from the start.

Internally, this position is called Junior Lead . You will exercise management authority with support from a Lead or the Chief Dietetics Officer while gaining exposure to an increasingly broad range of people, financial, and operational decisions. Your primary work is team leadership. You may provide patient care when needed, but the role has no fixed caseload.

What you’ll do

- Manage, coach, and develop dietitians; set expectations, give feedback, and address performance concerns.

- Lead hiring, onboarding, staffing, performance management, and retention efforts for your team.

- Own team revenue, profitability, retention, and productive capacity; use performance data to identify risks and take action.

- Reinforce clinical, documentation, scheduling, and operational standards, partnering with Clinical Excellence on training needs.

- Manage team workflows and priorities, and involve senior leadership when decisions require their input.

What you’ll bring

- A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.

- Applicable state licensure, or eligibility to obtain required licensure.

- Demonstrated ability to coach others, lead initiatives, and improve team performance. A prior manager title is not required.

- Sound judgment, clear communication, dependable follow-through, and comfort using performance data to guide decisions.

- Residence in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Utah, or willingness to relocate to one of these states before your first day.

- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Your growth
Junior Lead provides support and feedback as you gain exposure to increasingly complex leadership situations. After at least four quarters in the role, you may be evaluated for advancement to Lead based on sustained performance, demonstrated Lead-level capability, and organizational need.

Benefits
Eligible team members receive medical, dental, and vision coverage; employer healthcare contributions; a 401(k) with a 3% employer non-matching contribution; paid time off and holidays; and professional development support. Sensibly Sprouted also pays required professional liability insurance, state licensure fees, and CDR registration and renewal fees where applicable.
