About the role:

The Market Development team is a U.S. field-based marketing organization committed to developing and/or executing the strategic initiatives of the Urology Division through a variety of activities, including focused engagement of influential physicians. This position is responsible for executing the strategic market development objectives.

Market Development Managers (MDMs) collaborate with cross-functional teams on upstream and downstream market objectives and are responsible for engaging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and early career physicians. They need to understand market needs, condition for new technologies, accelerate therapy adoption and nurture the customer journey with specific emphasis on top Academic Medical Centers. This consistent engagement provides access to the most respected Key Opinion Leaders for Product Development, Education programs and market intelligence gathering.

Your responsibilities will include:

• The ideal candidate for this role will be a driven, adaptable, collaborative self-starter, willing to take on the challenge of defining and executing our strategy for physician engagement, physician development, market development and new technology acceleration across our Endourology & Urologic Cancer portfolio.

• The candidate would be tasked with executing focused physician engagement for strategic technology commercialization, market expansion, upstream product development support and the creation and/or execution of key programs to accelerate business.

• Field-based Marketing representative for the Endourology & Urologic Cancer portfolio

• Support KOL identification

• Support marketing teams on new technology conditioning and commercialization (Upstream and Downstream Activities)

• Lead Limited Market Release targeting, site recruitment and case support

• Recruit KOLS for Voice of Customer discussions lead by marketing

• Support recruitment for Summits for Urology franchise as needed

• Identify and recommend qualified KOL for training, technology, development, and research

• Develop strategic relationships with Physicians, including fellows

• Execute Resident Programs, through partnership with the Sales Leadership Team

• Develop and execute customer Market Development programs, including Market Assessment, Market Conditioning and Commercialization

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Candidate must reside in the US

• Experience with strategic KOL relationship management required

• Ability to engage and interact with customers in a variety of settings including advisory boards, congresses, and in the field required

• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in medical device industry with minimally invasive surgery company

• Sales and/or marketing leadership experience preferred

• Deep clinical experience across the Endourology & Urologic Cancer franchises strongly preferred

• Experience managing cross functional matrixes preferred

• Project Management skills with strong attention to detail important

• Up to 80% travel commitment

Minimum Salary: $140,000

Maximum Salary: $160,000

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
