About the role:

The Regional Business Director, Urology is responsible for leading regional commercial strategy, execution, and talent development for a dedicated subset of the Boston Scientific Urology portfolio. In some markets, Regional Business Directors may have responsibility for the full portfolio. This role translates area priorities into actionable regional and territory-level plans, drives revenue growth and market share expansion, and ensures disciplined execution with customers, field teams, and cross-functional partners. The Regional Business Director builds and develops a high-performing sales organization, strengthens strategic customer relationships, and champions a unified portfolio approach that delivers customer value, supports business objectives, and advances Boston Scientific’s position as a trusted partner in Urology.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute a regional business plan aligned with Urology commercial priorities, translating area strategy into clear territory goals, operating rhythms, and customer engagement plans.

• Deliver regional revenue growth, quota attainment, market share expansion, and sales performance through strong forecasting, pipeline management, account planning, and performance leadership.

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Territory Managers, establishing clear expectations, accountability measures, and field coaching routines that improve selling effectiveness and business outcomes.

• Champion a unified Urology portfolio approach by driving collaboration across product franchises and ensuring Territory Managers position the full portfolio based on customer needs, clinical value, and economic outcomes.

• Build and maintain trusted customer relationships with key hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, health systems, and strategic accounts within the assigned region.

• Partner with Area Vice Presidents, Marketing, Sales Operations, Clinical, Finance, HR, National Accounts, Training, and other cross-functional partners to align on strategy, execution, resourcing, and talent priorities.

• Support product launches, portfolio expansion initiatives, competitive conversions, and strategic account opportunities through strong field execution and customer engagement.

• Manage regional operating expenses, resource allocation, sales processes, CRM adoption, and business analytics to improve commercial effectiveness and achieve revenue and profitability objectives.

• Assess market dynamics, competitive activity, customer needs, reimbursement trends, and field execution risks; adjust regional strategy and talent deployment to improve business outcomes.

• Model and reinforce ethical, compliant, quality-focused, and patient-centered sales practices consistent with company policies, procedures, and standards.

Scope and Impact:

This role has direct responsibility for regional sales performance, field execution, customer engagement, and talent development across the assigned geography. The Regional Business Director leads a team of Territory Managers and partners closely with sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of Urology portfolio priorities. The role requires strong field presence with employees, customers, and business partners, with anticipated travel based on regional business needs with anticipated travel of approximately 60%-70%

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably within medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or a related industry.

• Previous leadership experience with demonstrated success leading sales teams a plus.

• Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, market share expansion, quota attainment, and sustained sales performance.

• Strong business acumen, including experience with forecasting, business planning, pipeline management, operating expense management, and performance analytics.

• Proven ability to coach and develop sales talent, build high-performing teams, and foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, collaboration, and execution excellence.

• Executive presence and ability to build trusted relationships with customers, field teams, and cross-functional partners.

• Knowledge of urology, pelvic health, prosthetic urology, endourology, neuromodulation, hospital, ASC, office-based, or specialty sales models preferred.

• Ability to travel approximately 60%–70% based on business needs

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $ 180,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
