About this role

This position will support the GFNY Quality Laboratory and Calibration team performing in-house and external testing / calibration. The primary objective of this role is to assist in scheduling and organizing the overall lab operations efforts, organization, lab safety and processes at the GFNY Quality Lab. The successful candidate for this position must have a broad background and a proven record of success in laboratory or similar facilities, and workshop organization. This candidate takes pride in their hands-on abilities, organization skills and attention to detail. They appreciate an environment where superior work is encouraged, noticed, and rewarded.

- Scheduling and tracking lab activities including Jira tickets, reliability testing, and calibration activities
- Tracking, processing, and reporting reliability data as it is generated
- Demonstrated experience with managing laboratory projects
- Experience submitting quotes, working with vendors, creating purchase orders, and procuring parts and services
- Coordinating with Tesla support teams and outside vendors – Purchasing, Recycling, EHS, security, etc.
- Assisting with creating lab procedures, signage and labels and enforcing these throughout
- Maintaining / developing the lab organization program (5S) as well as storage and test sample disposition activities and post-test retention

- 3 years of workshop/warehouse, industrial facility, test laboratory or other appropriate industry experience required
- Maintain schedules, via a strong understanding of Excel, specifically functions related to scheduling and Gantt charts
- Experience and demonstrated success with 5S or similar workplace organization methods
- Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used within a test lab environment is a plus
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments, coping with rapidly changing information and tasks
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work

Expected Compensation
- Project Coordinator I - $16.56 - $24.84/hour
- Project Coordinator II - $20.16 - $30.24/hour
- Project Coordinator III - $23.76 - $35.64/hour
- Project Coordinator IV - $28.80 - $43.20/hour
- Lead Project Coordinator - $34.56 - $51.84/hour

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
