Security Escort

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC has a potential need for a Security Escort to provide support for our government customer in Lorton, VA .

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Escorts shall coordinate support with the Government security staff and access control staff to verify the identification of escorted individuals and brief them on facility security and safety responsibilities, prohibited items, and issuance of access badges. Escorts may escort non-cleared Contractors from the same company.
- Escorts shall accompany and remain with all janitorial, maintenance, repair, and construction workers and other non-cleared personnel going into work areas for the duration of their work activities, and escort them out when the task is complete.
- Escort manning levels are dictated by maintenance, repair, or construction projects specific requirements and will be spelled out by task order.
- Escorts shall verify with the government sponsor that all classified material is removed from view and appropriately secured before allowing un-cleared personnel into any work area.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- 1 years of experience utilizing security systems such as DISS or Scattered Castles.
- Must be CPR and AED certified.
- Must be able to perform prolonged walking, standing, sitting and stooping for up to 12 hours.
- Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
- Must be able to understand and apply printed rules, detailed orders/instructions and training materials.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

- Must be a United States Citizen.
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
