The Role

The GWO Business Performance Management Analytics & Automation team is seeking a Full Stack Developer, Automation & AI to design, build, and support business applications, automation solutions, data products, and AI-enabled capabilities that improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and support data-driven decision-making across Global Wholesale Operations.

Working closely with engineering, analytics, data science, business, and technology partners, you will modernize manual processes, develop scalable applications, integrate enterprise data sources, create reporting solutions, and contribute to the team's growing automation and AI capabilities.

This role offers exposure to full-stack development, cloud technologies, enterprise data platforms, analytics, low-code technologies, and emerging AI solutions.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack business applications and automation solutions.

- Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations using Python, Java, and related technologies.

- Build modern, user-friendly frontend using React or comparable JavaScript/TypeScript framework.

- Create complex dashboards, reporting solutions, scheduled jobs and data products that support operational and management decision-making.

- Integrate applications with enterprise platforms, databases, APIs, and internal data sources.

- Support intelligent automation, AI-enabled solutions, and process digitization initiatives.

- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, release management, and production support.

- Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and improve business processes.

- Apply secure coding, testing, governance, and software engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

- Prior software development experience gained through professional, co-op, internship, consulting, or enterprise environments.

- Hands-on experience developing applications using Python or Java.

- Experience building web applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.

- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Experience working with SQL and relational databases.

- Experience using Git-based source control.

- Databases: SQL Server, Sybase; NoSQL Elasticsearch;

- Understanding of software development, lifecycle, testing, and deployment practices.

- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles and design patterns

- Microservices architecture

- Experience delivering software solutions beyond academic coursework.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred (nice to have)

- Python and FastAPI, Flask, or Django;

- Java and Spring Boot

- Power BI and DAX

- Dremio

- ETL and data integration

- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure

- Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher

- Bitbucket

- CI/CD pipelines and release management

- Experience developing low-code business solutions (Power apps) and workflow automation (Power automate)
