We are seeking an Account Manager/Sales Rep to manage a strong US Pool portfolio and accelerate growth in the geoliner/containment market.
This position requires managing all territory sales activities to drive growth in both sales and market share, while executing approved sales and marketing initiatives and delivering exceptional customer service across the region. The Account Manager/Sales Rep works closely with leadership to ensure strong territory performance, effective partner support, and consistent execution of the NA Pool and Containment sales strategies.
This role also requires strong experience in face-to-face selling, relationship building, and working B2B.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new customers and grow existing customers
- Organize and execute a business plan to meet territory sales goals and customer needs
- Frequently engage our customers’ purchasing, sales, marketing, and ownership groups to drive demand for Poolside by CGT products
- Confidently build and deliver presentations to any audience, including customer purchasing, sales, marketing, and ownership groups to drive demand for Poolside products
- Increase Poolside’s market share in the territory
- Help investigate growth opportunities in the geoliner/containment markets; this includes learning the market, and cold-calling to engage new potential customers
- Utilize approved sales/marketing tools within budget
- Provide timely updates on market trends, competitor activity, and any customer requests related to expedited lead times
- Follow up on inquiries from customers or internal CGT demand planning team in a timely fashion
- Submittal of intelligence Reports in a timely fashion
- Participate in trade shows, regional events, and industry functions to represent the Poolside brand and support territory growth
- Investigation and processing of product quality complaints in territory
- Travel regularly into the US will be required to visit customers, support trade shows, customer events, and occasional site visits for field quality concerns
- Any other responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications, Education & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent
Skills & Experience:
- Three+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the pool industry
- Ability to engage and pull demand through dealers and end users
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Technical aptitude to provide basic product knowledge and project clarification when required
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Valid driver’s license and active passport; ability to travel freely into the US
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- Strong communication skills – listening, clarifying, understanding, speaking, and facilitating
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Physical Effort Required and Working Conditions:
- Usually work in an office, plant or visiting customer production facilities, with occasional attendance at industry trade shows requiring booth setup/teardown and extended periods of standing on the trade show floor
- Ability to meet the physical demands associated with the role
- Standard work week, occasionally weekend and weeknight work to meet trade show, team meetings, and Customer event schedules is required without receiving additional compensation
- Prolonged absences from home due to Domestic (NA) travel from 75 to 100 days per annum
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and passport and the ability to freely travel across international borders
