Job Description

RRS Group & Co. is seeking a motivated Associate Finance Intern for our 2027 Summer Internship Program. This opportunity is designed specifically for college sophomores who are interested in building a career in finance, accounting, real estate, investment management, or business analytics.

The intern will support financial and operational initiatives while developing practical skills in financial analysis, Excel, reporting, data management, and business communication.

Responsibilities

- Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliation activities.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Maintain and organize financial records, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare Excel-based reports, financial models, and management presentations.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other finance-related activities as needed.
- Assist with real estate and property-level financial analysis.
- Conduct research and gather data to support finance and business initiatives.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Real Estate, and other cross-functional teams.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to assigned projects.
- Present findings and recommendations to team members and business leaders when appropriate.
- Perform additional analytical and administrative responsibilities based on business needs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

- Currently enrolled as a college sophomore at an accredited university.
- Expected graduation date of December 2028 or May/August 2029.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Real Estate, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated interest in finance, business, real estate, or investment analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
