Join Clariant as a Quality Assurance Technician and play an important role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You’ll perform testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, and provide accurate results that support production and quality decisions.

You’ll also contribute to quality investigations, equipment validation and calibration, and compliance with our quality, safety, and regulatory standards. By working closely with your colleagues and maintaining high standards in the laboratory, you’ll help us deliver consistent quality while supporting a safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

- Perform all testing for raw material, in-process, and finish good samples. O perate all lab equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Develop strong proficiency on all test methods and lab instruments. Follow all approved SOP’s or WI’s. Adhere to any relevant industrial standards for sample preparation, handling, and storage.

- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of results to stakeholders using approved digital communications systems. Participate in routine equipment validations and calibrations. Evaluate all test results against internal and external specifications. Ensure non-conformities are recorded to support accurate First Pass Quality and Cost of Poor Quality calculations.

- Support all QNS investigations and/or root cause investigation related to quality issues at the site.

- Complete any assigned training or job tasks required to achieve or maintain GMP, ISO 9001, HACCP, KOSHER, and HALAL certifications.

- Work rotating shifts, including a 3-shift or 4-shift rotation, as well as 7 days per week, to maintain 24-hour lab coverage

- Complete lab area workplace exams and participate in EHWA’s. Implement measures to address all identified hazards.

- Perform housekeeping duties and maintain 5S standards for all lab areas.

- Perform preventative maintenance activities and enter SAP Work Notifications to maintain lab equipment.

- Work effectively with co-workers and always comply with Clariant Code of Conduct

- Comply with all site safety requirements including but not limited to creating Safe Work Permits, performing ESLOTO, completing mobile equipment inspections, and entering Safety Deviations.

- Perform all other duties assigned by Quality Manager to support business needs.
