Position Summary
The Service Valet is an important part of the Lincoln of Bloomington service team and plays a key role in providing an exceptional customer experience. This position is responsible for the safe and professional pickup and delivery of customer vehicles from their homes or places of business, delivering parts, and assisting with various tasks throughout the service and dealership operations.
The Service Valet works closely with Service Advisors, customers, technicians, and other dealership employees to ensure clear communication and a smooth experience from vehicle pickup through delivery.
This is a customer-facing position and driving position . The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, friendly, organized, and comfortable interacting with customers while representing Lincoln of Bloomington.
Hours Needed
We are looking 2 hire for 2 different positions, the shifts are:
Tuesday and Thursday 12:00pm to 7pm
or
Monday, Wednesday Friday - 1:00pm to 7:00PM
Essential Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver customer vehicles safely and professionally.
- Provide a friendly and professional experience when interacting with customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle pickup and delivery.
- Work closely with Service Advisors to coordinate customer vehicle transportation.
- Deliver parts and other items as needed throughout the dealership and surrounding area.
- Assist the service department with various daily tasks and errands.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of customer vehicles during the pickup and delivery process.
- Complete required documentation and utilize dealership applications throughout the day.
- Use a smartphone and required applications to communicate, document activities, and complete assigned tasks.
- Follow all dealership safety procedures and driving policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect customers' property and personal information.
- Represent Lincoln of Bloomington in a professional manner at all times.
- Assist other departments and dealership personnel as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record .
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Ability to safely operate a variety of customer vehicles.
- Comfortable interacting with customers in their homes, places of business, and at the dealership.
- Must have a smartphone capable of running required dealership applications.
- Ability to use basic smartphone applications and technology.
- Ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
- Previous automotive or dealership experience is helpful but not required.
