Start Monday is partnering with a leading automotive OEM to appoint an experienced Fleet Sales Manager with responsibility for a high-volume vehicle brand across both Passenger Cars and Light Commercial Vehicles.
This is a senior commercial role with responsibility for developing fleet performance across the Irish market, building relationships with major fleet customers, leasing and rental companies, corporate accounts and the brand's dealer network.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the fleet strategy for the brand, identifying opportunities to increase volume, market penetration and long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the national fleet sales strategy across passenger and commercial vehicles.
Deliver agreed fleet volume, revenue and market-share objectives.
Manage relationships with key corporate, leasing, rental and fleet customers.
Identify and develop new high-volume fleet opportunities.
Work closely with the dealer network to develop local and regional fleet business.
Manage tenders, major account negotiations and commercial proposals.
Develop fleet programmes, campaigns and tactical initiatives.
Work closely with sales, marketing, product and aftersales teams.
Monitor competitor activity, market trends and fleet-sector developments.
Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management and performance reporting.
Represent the brand at customer meetings, industry events and fleet presentations.
Requirements
We are looking for a commercially driven automotive professional with a strong understanding of the Irish fleet market.
Ideally you will have:
Significant automotive fleet, B2B or national/key-account experience.
Experience working with an OEM, distributor, leasing company or major dealer group.
A strong understanding of both passenger and commercial vehicle markets.
Experience managing significant sales volumes and commercial targets.
Established relationships within the Irish fleet sector would be advantageous.
Strong negotiation, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
A highly commercial and analytical approach.
The ability to operate effectively between an OEM, its dealer network and major customers.
