Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver – Good Pay | Home Daily
Join a dedicated intermodal operation in the St. Louis area with daily home time , day and night shift opportunities, and freight operating within a 300-mile radius . Drivers haul containers on chassis with a mix of drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloaded freight.
Pay Details
- $1,100+ average weekly pay
- $0.56 per mile on loaded and empty miles
- $40 + mileage on loads with 1-49 loaded miles
- Additional $20 pay as applicable
- Pay is based on loads completed and paid in increments
- Paid weekly
Job Details

- Slip-seat operation
- Day cab equipment
- Drivers must remain flexible for traffic and weather conditions
Shift Details
- Day and night shifts available
- Schedule based on operational needs
- Home daily
- Drivers may be required to adjust schedules based on freight volume, traffic, and weather
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Must be at least 22 years old
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
- No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
- Must meet DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements
- Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for driving, communication, and required documentation
