JOB TITLE
Officer - Information Technology | MAF Retail | Hypermarket Kuwait

ROLE SUMMARY
The Associate – Info. Tech is responsible for providing the highest quality service with excellent customer care in receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving requests from our clients in a timely manner. The role holder is also responsible for talking to users on the telephone working in a busy helpdesk environment.

ROLE PROFILE

- Provide first-level IT support to all business units for IT-related requests.
- Deliver hotline support during non-office hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Coordinate, test, and review system change requests submitted by business users.
- Troubleshoot IT products and services and resolve user technical issues efficiently.
- Record incidents, requests, and problem details accurately in the Service Desk tool.
- Update and manage support tickets, ensuring proper documentation and timely closure.
- Follow up with users to verify that implemented solutions have resolved issues effectively.
- Support IT initiatives and action plans that enhance operational productivity, performance, and effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- 0-2 years of experience within an IT department or IT support function.
- Strong business communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
