About this role

About the role | He Aha Te Tūranga

As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you’ll be responsible for delivering, optimising and reporting on marketing campaigns and customer communications across nib’s marketing portfolio. Working across email, SMS, push notifications, forms and landing pages, you’ll translate campaign requirements into accurate, data-led automation solutions that deliver relevant and timely experiences for members and customers.

You’ll combine hands-on campaign delivery with day-to-day ownership of nib NZ’s marketing automation platform. This includes audience segmentation, customer journeys, personalisation, testing, reporting, platform governance, data structures and integrations. Working closely with Marketing, Technology, Data and external partners, you’ll help improve campaign performance, automation maturity and the value we get from our marketing technology, while ensuring activity meets brand, accessibility, privacy, risk and compliance requirements.

Day to day you will:

- Build, configure, test and deploy campaigns and automated communications across email, SMS, push notifications and other digital channels.
- Create and maintain templates, forms, landing pages, dynamic content, workflows, triggers and customer journeys.
- Define data requirements and build accurate audience selections and segments using SQL and platform tools.
- Own and continuously improve nib NZ’s marketing automation platform, ensuring it is reliable, scalable and fit for purpose.
- Design and maintain the platform data model, including data extensions, custom objects, fields and integrations.
- Monitor campaign and journey performance, turn results into actionable insights and deliver test-and-learn activity.
- Partner with Marketing, Technology, Data and external vendors to deliver enhancements and resolve campaign, platform and data issues.
- Maintain platform governance, standards, documentation and reusable assets, while managing priorities, dependencies, risks and timelines.
