About the Role:
We have an opportunity for an experienced HSEQ leader to join Vinarchy as our HSEQ Manager, New Zealand. Reporting to the HSEQ Director and leading a team of five, this senior leadership role is responsible for delivering safety, environmental and quality outcomes across our New Zealand operations.
Based in Marlborough with flexible working arrangements, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across HSEQ programs, ensuring compliance with New Zealand legislation, industry standards and Vinarchy's global framework. You'll work closely with operational leaders, technical teams and global stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, strengthen capability and embed a culture of safety, sustainability and quality across the business.
Your Key Accountabilities
• Provide strategic HSEQ leadership and support the development of regional HSEQ initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with New Zealand health and safety, environmental and food safety regulations and standards.
• Oversee injury management, incident investigations, risk reviews and continuous improvement programs.
• Lead strategic HSEQ projects and identify opportunities to improve operational, environmental and quality performance.
• Develop, coach and lead a high-performing HSEQ team, building capability and engagement across the function.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and represent Vinarchy with regulators, auditors and industry bodies.

What You'll Bring:
You're an experienced HSEQ leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational delivery. You bring a strong understanding of New Zealand regulatory requirements, a track record of leading high-performing teams, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a complex operational environment whilst driving a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement
- Significant leadership experience in HSEQ, sustainability, compliance or operational roles within manufacturing, FMCG, agriculture or wine industries.
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand health and safety, environmental and quality frameworks, with experience implementing management systems and driving compliance outcomes.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects and influence stakeholders to deliver business-wide improvement initiatives
