GS Sea Logistics Specialist - Confirm Vessel Departure

Job Purpose

The Confirm Vessel Departure Sea Logistics Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all vessels depart as scheduled and that all necessary documentation and procedures are completed accurately and timely. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

- Monitor and confirm the departure of vessels according to the schedule.
- Coordinate with shipping agents, and other relevant parties to ensure all departure requirements are met.
- Verify and process all necessary documentation, including CTD no., container no., bills of lading, and export leg bundle key.
- Maintain accurate records of vessel departures and related documentation.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on vessel departure status.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to vessel departures promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 6-12 months of experience in Sea Logistics or a similar industry.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
