Godrej RedCo LLC, a subsidiary of Godrej Properties Limited, is being established in Dubai to strengthen GPL’s presence across International markets and manage sales and distribution for all markets with Dubai being the Hub.
Godrej Properties has been serving customers in Dubai for over 12 years, with operations largely managed from India and supported by a representative sales office in Dubai. Godrej RedCo marks the next phase of International business journey, transitioning from a representative office to a full-fledged entity office in Dubai.

About the Role :
The Finance Manager – Real Estate (Cross-Border Operations) will oversee the financial management of the Dubai entity, with a strong focus on real estate finance, international brokerage accounting, cross-border taxation, intercompany transactions, treasury management, and statutory compliance. The role requires ensuring seamless financial operations while maintaining full alignment with the parent company's accounting, reporting, governance, and compliance standards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in UAE taxation, IFRS reporting, transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, and real estate brokerage operations, enabling the organization to operate efficiently while minimizing tax and regulatory risks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Entity Financials & Monthly MIS, Internal controls
- Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts for the Dubai subsidiary.
- Prepare monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) reports according to HO timelines.
- Align the local chart of accounts with the parent company's accounting platform (e.g., SAP).
- Perform month-end closing activities, including intercompany reconciliations and accruals.
- Ensure financial reporting complies with both IFRS and Ind AS for smooth group consolidation
- Establish, implement, and continuously monitor robust internal financial controls
- Audit of financials as per local and internal regulations
- Coordinate statutory audits and ensure compliance with local regulatory and internal governance requirements, support group audit requirements under IFRS and Ind AS.
- Coordinate with the Indian parent entity regarding funding requirements, advances, reimbursements, and settlement of intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance with related-party transaction regulations and documentation requirements under Indian regulatory frameworks.
2. Managing Inbound International Brokerage
- Review and validate international broker agreements from accounting, taxation, and commercial perspectives.
- Process international broker invoices, verifying proper withholding tax (WHT) treatment and reverse charge mechanisms (RCM) under UAE VAT.
- Monitor brokerage commission accruals and payouts while ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Support commercial teams in structuring broker agreements to optimize accounting, tax efficiency, and compliance.
3. Executing Cross-Border Intercompany Billing
- Structure and raise marketing / referral / admin invoices from the Dubai subsidiary to the Indian entity.
- Establish transfer pricing markup margins on intercompany invoices backed by benchmarking studies.
· Ensure intercompany billing complies with Indian Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) regulations and facilitates timely repatriation of funds.
· Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and resolve cross-border accounting differences promptly.
4. Compliance & Tax Optimization
- File quarterly UAE VAT returns and optimize eligible input VAT recoveries in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Manage UAE Corporate Tax compliance, including transfer pricing documentation and related disclosures.
- Maintain Transfer Pricing documentation, including Local Files and supporting documentation for transactions with the Indian parent and other related entities.
- Monitor Economic Substance Regulations (ESR) applicability and ensure timely compliance, where relevant.
- Closely liaise with Dubai-based tax consultants, statutory auditors, and regulatory advisors to coordinate tax positions, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filings, transfer pricing documentation, statutory audits, and the timely preparation and finalization of audited financial statements, while ensuring alignment with the parent company's finance and compliance requirements
- Manage withholding tax compliance for international payments, including treaty analysis, tax return filings, and tax optimization.
- Interpret and apply Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAAs) and advise management on appropriate tax positions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable foreign exchange regulations governing international transactions and fund movements.
5. Treasury & Cross-Border Fund Management
- Forecast cash flows to balance local real estate operating costs with international broker payouts.
- Manage AED, USD, and INR foreign exchange risks on cross-border collections and remittances.
- Oversee corporate bank accounts and capital repatriation pathways back to India
- Manage capital repatriation to the Indian parent in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensure efficient utilization of available funds while maintaining adequate liquidity for business operations.
