About the role

The Lead - Privacy & Protection will be responsible for driving security governance, risk mitigation, and protection initiatives across Godrej Living's operations nationally. The role will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for security processes, resource deployment standards, incident prevention, emergency response, and crisis management. Working closely with facility management leadership, legal and liaison functions, strategic service partners, and external law enforcement agencies, the incumbent will strengthen organizational resilience, ensure readiness for security-related incidents, and foster a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

Culture Building

· Gather market-leading security practices and emerging industry trends.

· Share and drive implementation of at least one best practice across sites every month.

· Promote a culture of vigilance, preparedness, and continuous improvement.

Critical Process Ownership

· Provide training and support for conducting mock drills across all sites.

· Establish and govern security processes and resource deployment norms to prevent incidents.

· Share security advisories and maintain a high security posture across locations.

· Standardize SOPs for managing security agencies and service providers.

Incident Response & Expert Support

· Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments, vulnerability studies, and threat analyses.

· Identify operational, physical, environmental, and reputational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

· Monitor emerging threats and implement preventive and corrective actions.

· Lead security audits and periodic reviews to ensure risk controls remain effective.

· Lead effective incident and emergency response management across all business locations.

· Develop and maintain liaison networks with law enforcement agencies and local authorities.

· Support the preparation and implementation of Emergency Response Teams (ERTs) across sites.

· Recommend and implement innovative security solutions and best practices.

· Conduct investigations and investigative interviews for reported incidents.

· Ensure timely incident reporting through approved communication channels and technology platforms.

Post Possession Customer Experience

· Conduct quarterly management reviews with guarding and security service providers.

· Support hiring, onboarding, and KPI development for security personnel.

· Publish security newsletters, advisories, and awareness communications on a regular basis.

· Strengthen customer confidence through robust security governance and visibility.

Quality Management

· Prepare and maintain an annual calendar for security drills and preparedness exercises.

· Drive capability-building and development initiatives for security teams.

· Monitor quality standards and ensure consistency of service delivery across all sites.

· Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.

Partner Management

· Manage security partners and guarding vendors across locations.

· Conduct periodic site reviews and night inspections with security officers and vendor representatives.

· Develop strategic partnerships to ensure effective PAN India service delivery.

· Monitor vendor performance, SLA adherence, and governance standards.

Work Experience

- Experience in Security Management, Risk Management, Security audits and ensuring physical security
- Experience managing multi-location operations – PAN India or atleast zonal
- Prior exposure to Real Estate, Facilities Management, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Corporate Security, or Integrated Townships preferred.
- Must be comfortable in travelling PAN India.

- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Certifications in Security Management / Risk Management - CBP is must
