Battery Proto Lab Engineer

A purpose driven role for you

Qualified electro-mechanical engineer/technician with 4+ years of relevant experience in battery prototype assembly, laser welding and lab equipment handling. This position is required to manage the prototype development activity, process establishment and industrialization.

● Battery prototype development
● Quality checks and documentation
● Lab equipment maintenance and lab updation
● Maintain safe work environment

Academic Qualification & Experience

Diploma Electrical/Mechanical Engg.
B.E Electrical Engg./B.E Mechanical Engg.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Knowledge of proto development techniques.
Expertise in laser welding and knowledge of other welding processes in battery manufacturing.
Select and install new lab equipment as necessary.
Wide experience and knowledge in battery pack production equipment and process.
Expertise in handling electrical components.
Expertise in safely handling Li-Ion cells.
Knowledge of battery chemical/adhesive handling and dispensing.
Wide experience in SOP and WI preparation.
Expertise in trial report preparation.
Failure analysis and problem solving capabilities.
Knowledge of battery tear down analysis.
Processing, tracking and recording the trial data.
Knowledge of quality check points in battery assembly.
Knowledge of welding fixturing or set-up for lab operation.
Good understanding of engineering drawings.
Knowledge of safety protocols for Li-Ion batteries.
Knowledge of LV and HV battery system handling.

Behavioural Skills

Ability to prioritize multiple task and complete the high
quality task minimum amount of supervision
Adaptability, self-motivation.
