Job summary
As an Associate in Global Liquidity Client Services, you will support institutional clients by managing servicing inquiries, onboarding activities, and account maintenance requests from start to finish. You will coordinate with internal partners to resolve operational items accurately and on time, while operating in a control-focused environment and contributing to continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day client inquiries and service requests through completion, providing timely and accurate updates
- Investigate operational issues (e.g., settlements, interest claims, cash management requests, and banking-related queries) and escalate appropriately when needed
- Coordinate client, account, and fund onboarding activities, tracking progress and dependencies across stakeholders
- Complete account maintenance requests by ensuring required documentation and approvals are accurate and complete
- Partner with Operations, Product, Tax, Compliance, Legal, and other teams to drive resolution and reduce rework
- Maintain clear internal records of requests, decisions, and outcomes in line with procedures and controls
- Prioritize multiple requests effectively, balancing service expectations with quality and risk considerations
- Identify process pain points and propose practical improvements to simplify servicing and increase efficiency
- Support implementation of workflow, reporting, or automation enhancements as part of change initiatives
- Follow established policies and controls, raising risks, issues, and control gaps promptly
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a financial services environment (e.g., asset management, banking, custody, or treasury services)
- Experience in one or more of the following: client servicing, onboarding, account maintenance, fund operations, or cash management support
- Demonstrated ability to manage routine requests independently and support resolution of more complex issues with appropriate escalation
- Strong client-service mindset with clear ownership and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Sound problem-solving and prioritization skills in a time-sensitive environment
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability while managing multiple requests concurrently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office applications
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Exposure to reporting, data visualization, workflow, or automation tools
- Experience contributing to process improvement and control enhancement initiatives
- Experience supporting institutional clients within an operations or client services function
- Familiarity with documentation standards and control requirements in a regulated environment
- Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.
