NN Insurance Hungary is looking for a talented professional to join NN Hungary’s team as a Senior DevOps Engineer.
In this position, you will design, develop, and ensure the reliable operation of scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud platforms and automated software delivery solutions. You will also support development teams by providing technical guidance, establishing standards, and resolving complex technical challenges, while driving automation, security, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and evolve scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud platforms and services.
- Define and promote DevOps best practices, engineering standards, and reusable solutions across development teams.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and automation tools.
- Build, optimize, and govern CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to improve delivery speed, quality, and reliability.
- Implement monitoring, logging, incident management, and automated operations to ensure platform stability and performance.
- Embed security and compliance requirements into cloud platforms and software delivery processes.
- Stay up to date with emerging cloud and AI technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance while collaborating with local and international stakeholders.
What matters to us:
- Min. 3-5 years of relevant professional experience as a Devops Engineer or Lead Engineer
- Experience with Terraform, Azure cloud services, Azure Databricks, Azure AI services, Azure DevOps and relevant technologies
- Deep understanding of software build processes, CI/CD practices, and automated delivery pipelines
- Has hands-on experience building applications from source code (FE/BFF JavaScript, Node.js // BE – Java)
- Fluency in English
- Good communication and problem solving skills, proactivity, openness to continuous learning
- Analytical mindset, systems thinking
