Role
Amandari-Kedewatan, Ubud is seeking a skilled and dedicated Commis to join our Culinary team. In this full-time role, you will prepare and present high-level food items while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. You'll work closely with our talented chefs to deliver exceptional cuisine to guests and staff.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate your assigned kitchen station with precision and consistency
- Execute prep tasks and food production as directed by the Sous Chef
- Ensure all mise en place is complete and up to quality standards
- Use proper recipes and presentation techniques to uphold culinary excellence
- Communicate effectively with the culinary leadership team about needs or issues
- Accommodate guest dietary or special requests with attention to detail
- Label, date, and store all food products properly at the end of each shift
- Keep your station and the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members across all shifts to ensure continuity and quality
- Maintain a professional demeanor and reflect the high standards of Aman
Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional kitchen experience
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, holidays, and varied shifts
- Food Safety Certification required
- Highly organized and capable of working independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with poise and precision
- Exceptional attention to detail and cleanliness
- Sensitive to cultural diversity and hospitality standards
- Must maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
