Solution Architect

BRP is seeking a Solution Architect (Rotax) to oversee solution design and ensure seamless alignment with our global enterprise architecture. In this role, you will lead the technical design for parallel project streams across four core domains—Business, Application, Information, and Technology. You will work closely with cross-functional partners, PMO, and Solution Management to deliver secure, high-performing solutions that support Rotax’s strategic objectives.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

- Build Solution Architecture for Rotax ecosystem and its interfaces to connected systems.
- Assess the business requirements for an initiative or a problem in a architecture context
- Pre-select and compare potential technical solutions including software selection when needed
- Provide an architectural conception of the solution regarding Business, Application, Information and Technology domains via the solution architecture design document
- In an architecture context: involvement in designing, specifying and selecting information system solutions, considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance.
- Support the project team during the specifications and design phase
- Investigate information systems that might benefit BRP
- Document the solution in the enterprise architecture tool using the archimate language
- Lead the organisation in exploiting technology and use knowledge of IT solutions to drive organisational change and support business process design.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or applied computer science.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within Multinational Companies
- Strategic business acumen and understanding of organisation strategy and ability to design a solution to deliver that strategy
- Experience in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences. Some experience with working with executive stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to appropriately prioritise and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment
- Fluent in English. A fluency in German (written and spoken) will represent a strong asset to cover the position successfully.
