At Anglicare we are looking for a Tenancy Manager who will play a vital role in supporting residents to maintain safe, stable and sustainable housing to help create positive housing outcomes.

Your Opportunity

This is a full-time, on-site position with frequent travel, with standard working hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

As a Tenancy Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of residential tenancies across Anglicare’s Housing portfolio. Working closely with residents, service providers, internal stakeholders and external agencies, you will ensure tenancy obligations are met, residents are supported, and housing services are delivered in accordance with legislation and organisational policies.

You will play a key role in fostering positive tenant experiences, maintaining tenancy compliance and supporting long-term housing outcomes.

With professionalism, empathy and strong tenancy management expertise, you will:

Tenancy Management

- Manage tenancy agreements, tenancy onboarding and resident transitions

- Oversee rent setting, rent reviews and rent collection processes

- Manage tenancy enquiries, complaints, disputes and lease-related matters

- Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act and community housing requirements

Resident & Community Support

- Build strong relationships with residents and provide exceptional customer service

- Support tenants to access relevant services and community supports where required

Property & Asset Coordination

- Conduct property inspections and prepare tenancy-related reports

- Identify and escalate maintenance and property condition issues by liaising with Asset Management teams

- Monitor tenancy and property matters to ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution

Administration & Compliance

- Maintain accurate tenancy records, documentation and reporting

- Prepare tenancy reports, rental reviews and compliance documentation

- Monitor trends, analyse data and support reporting requirements

What You'll Bring

You are a customer-focused tenancy professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and helping people maintain stable housing.

What's Required

- Minimum 2-3 + years’ experience in tenancy or property management

- 2 years of strong understanding of social housing, affordable housing or community housing environments

- Excellent communication, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills

- Current Driver’s Licence and own car

- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain

What’s Preferred

- Experience managing tenancy agreements, rental reviews and tenancy compliance

- Sound knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and tenancy management principles

- Strong administration, reporting and record management capabilities
